Entitled ‘The Choirs of Berkhamsted School for Girls’, the recording took place in the School Hall on 28th June 1981. It was a first recording for the School and involved the Senior, Junior and Small choirs. The first side has music for Christmas and the second side is a miscellany of music from the Choir’s repertoire. The cost of the record was £4.00. Credits include Marjorie Burnham as the Director of Music, with Piano and Organ by Jean Cooper. The cover photograph, shows the choir standing on the area that is now the 3G Lacrosse pitch in front of The Knox-Johnston Sports Centre. A donated item from a former member of the Administration Staff at Kings.
