September 2015

We are into the second, official year of the Archive and have been as busy as ever, with the 143rd enquiry answered and over 24,000 hits on the website, interest has steadily grown.

Visitors over the summer months and into the new term have come from as near as Weybridge and as far away as Ontario. In 2016 and 2017, way ahead I know, we will welcome visitors from Australia and a group of 40 (six of whom have connections with the School) from America.

The cataloguing work continues every day, the Exhibition Room displays are added to and changed and fit for purpose archival storage boxes have been bought for the House books.

With a new layout and upgrade to the website, users should be able to access the information on all devices.

Girls Cabinet

The Girls’ School has a new archive display cabinet, situated in the best possible position for footfall and viewing on the first floor of the Nash-Harris, as you make your way to the Science block.
