Sketches by Alma Duncan and Lacrosse Tea Towel

Two lovely, quirky sketches by Alma Duncan (Art Staff 1960-1995).

The first shows four members of the Girls’ School Staff – Alma Duncan (Art), SM ‘Mags’ Wood (Lacrosse and Tennis 1962-1987), Margaret Allday (Maths 1948-1982) and Carol Harris (P.E.)

The second shows a Lacrosse match ‘in action’.

A blue and white lacrosse design by Alma Duncan (Art Staff) to commemorate a visit from the U.S.W.L.A. Touring Team of 1964. They played a match against the Gt.B.East at Haslam Field, followed by a meal and a sing-song at the School.

These three items were recently donated by Miss SM Woods (Staff 1962-1987).
