A recent find in the East Wing tank room, this lovely old cup was brought to the archive by a member of the caretaking team.
It stands nearly ten inches tall and is engraved on every available space with the winning houses of the Hand Fives competition. The first recipients were School House Lowers in 1898 and the last were Hawks in 2001.
The cup was presented by Rev. Archdall B. Wynne Willson, Captain Commanding Berkhamsted School Rifle Volunteer Corps 1891-1897.
